Um... 3-5, I guess: I try to sit twice a day, but sometimes I fall off the wagon :).

4 but it's been tough since I got a young dog who chews his rawhide bones while I sit. The crunching and chewing sounds are distracting. I've also missed a few days lately while moving to Alaska. Wonderful drive though. If you ever drive the Alaskan highway (Alcan) stay over in a weird little town called Beaver Creek on the border of Yukon / AK. I've got great memories of the midnight sun at that place.

Also - Brad was definitely the catalyst for daily sitting for me. He helped gel decades of exposure & thought on zen into a real practice.

I haven't been motivated to up it to twice a day since my family is a higher priority for me (mornings I can sit before everyone wakes up).

I havent been sitting recently at all, hence the fact that i am hanging out trolling the comments sections...btw, i do have a girlfriend for Oxeye's question...
When i do "sit" i dont necessarily sit in lotus position.

I believe bare attention (awareness to the present moment) can be practiced at any time, any place, but obviously the more simple the situation the easier it is at first.

I'm a 4 (ha!). But it's all Vajrayana sadhana. I do sit with no mind tools on occasion when I have some time to myself

If it's not too late to post, put me down for an optimistic 4, maybe a 3.9 or something because every once in a while I do miss a day, but let's say 27 days out of 30. That's about right.
